It's time for the give-away!
We want to say "thanks" to everyone that has become a fan, is following the blog, or has supported Santiago in anyway, and what better way is there then doing a contest to win one of Santiago's original oil paintings!

Each person can have up to 5 entries, all entries will be tracked through the blog. The contest will run for 3 weeks and one random winner will be selected on November 30, 2010 (just in time for Christmas) and we will announce the lucky person here on the blog.

So here's how you can enter to win. We tried to make it easy and fun - I promise!
One. Visit Santiago's website http://www.santiagomichalek.com/ and determine which painting/drawing is your favorite. Leave a comment here on the blog with the name of that piece.
Two. 'Like' Santiago Michalek Fine Art on facebook and then leave a comment here on the blog that you are now following his facebook page OR if you are already a fan, just leave a comment here saying "I am a faithful facebook fan," or something along those lines.
Three. Suggest to your friends that they 'like' Santiago Michalek Fine Art. Visit the facebook page here and click on 'suggest to friends' under the picture in the top left hand corner. Once you have succesfully sent the suggestion to your friends leave a comment here letting us know.
Four. Tell your friends about this amazing give-away by posting about it on your facebook status update (be sure to include a link back here to the blog). Once you do that, come back here and tell us about it by leaving a comment.
Five. Post about about the give-away on your blog. When you leave a comment letting us know about your fifth and final entry you must include the link to your blog post in order for your entry to count. The more details you provide on your blog the better and we would love to see pictures posted of the paintings that will be given away.
Bonus entry. Yep there is another easy way to enter to win! Become a follower of the blog and then leave another comment telling us that you are now a follower or already were a follower.
Now there is one more really exciting part - if we get more than 500 entries (not people just individual entries) we will be giving away three pieces! That's a first, second, and third place! Three seperate winners rather than just one!

Oh. My. Goodness. You paintings are amazing. I don't think I have ever wanted to win a give-away more than I want to win this one. I love the Split Bug #3 but I didn't see it on the website. I would want to win that one if it is available to win.

ReplyDeleteFavorite painting is the 57 PG/SG Microbus. It's your strongest, I think, and not because it's the most "finished" either. The composition is just so striking and really lets you explore the great positive and negative shapes. Bravo.

I think my favorite piece (though I'd need to spend a lot of time studying them in person to truly determine this) is Boot Black in Ghana.
