We want to say "thanks" to everyone that has become a fan, is following the blog, or has supported Santiago in anyway, and what better way is there then doing a contest to win one of Santiago's original oil paintings!

Each person can have up to 5 entries, all entries will be tracked through the blog. The contest will run for 3 weeks and one random winner will be selected on November 30, 2010 (just in time for Christmas) and we will announce the lucky person here on the blog.

So here's how you can enter to win. We tried to make it easy and fun - I promise!
One. Visit Santiago's website http://www.santiagomichalek.com/ and determine which painting/drawing is your favorite. Leave a comment here on the blog with the name of that piece.
Two. 'Like' Santiago Michalek Fine Art on facebook and then leave a comment here on the blog that you are now following his facebook page OR if you are already a fan, just leave a comment here saying "I am a faithful facebook fan," or something along those lines.
Three. Suggest to your friends that they 'like' Santiago Michalek Fine Art. Visit the facebook page here and click on 'suggest to friends' under the picture in the top left hand corner. Once you have succesfully sent the suggestion to your friends leave a comment here letting us know.
Four. Tell your friends about this amazing give-away by posting about it on your facebook status update (be sure to include a link back here to the blog). Once you do that, come back here and tell us about it by leaving a comment.
Five. Post about about the give-away on your blog. When you leave a comment letting us know about your fifth and final entry you must include the link to your blog post in order for your entry to count. The more details you provide on your blog the better and we would love to see pictures posted of the paintings that will be given away.

Oh. My. Goodness. You paintings are amazing. I don't think I have ever wanted to win a give-away more than I want to win this one. I love the Split Bug #3 but I didn't see it on the website. I would want to win that one if it is available to win.

I am the most hardcore fan you will ever find on this earth in the entire history of the whole world (that should count for two, but to be fair, we'll let it slide this time).

Favorite painting is the 57 PG/SG Microbus. It's your strongest, I think, and not because it's the most "finished" either. The composition is just so striking and really lets you explore the great positive and negative shapes. Bravo.

Santiago. Apparently I have been out of the loop for quite a while as I think of you primarily as a dancer. What wonderful work, and interesting perspectives you take.
